For a full weekend event, your package includes 14 hours of hall usage: 8:30 to 11:30 for your decorating, 2 pm to 5 pm for your vendors, and 5 pm to midnight for your event.

Foyer and Bar - Special Pricing for Small groups. We are able to offer a very low cost for events limited to the Foyer and Bar only. This area can be set up with six-foot tables for an event with fewer than 70 persons. We can offer flexibility on catering and decorating so that your cost is very low. Call about this new capability for a small cocktail party, brunch, lunch or dinner.
Please note: that the office handles all hall, linen, bar, catering and security needs for our customers. We feature:
- Updated and modernized bathrooms that are handicapped-friendly and have baby changing stations.
- Private parking and handicap parking
- Handicap accessibility into the building
- Round tables, with up to ten padded chairs to a table
- House crews who will:
- Have the hall thoroughly cleaned and set it up according to Association policies, building codes, Renters’ wishes.
- Keep the banquet hall and building clean during the event and tear down and cleanup afterwards
- Also available are easels, pillars, columns, a wishing well, and trellis
- Other hall decorations are available and may be rented – We do not have centerpieces in stock – they must be rented from us or brought in by the lessee
- Use of private room in the lobby area for a photo studio, children's activities, etc
- Drop-down screen on stage
We accept MasterCard, VISA, and debit cards.
Catering
We offer six choices for catering services - in-house Catering provided by the Crownridge Hall Association Columbus Club, and five additional vendors:
Columbus Club (In-house caterer)
- Walk up or buffet-style service, $10 and up
- Brisket –Chicken- or Sausage and 2 sides with ice tea
- Or Turkey –Ham –Roast Beef or Salisbury steak
- We handle parties of 150 or less with service from the serving kitchen window
- Can serve parties of 200-250
Bar and Liquor
There is a separate service agreement for the bar. The bar will be open on all rental nights for full service. This must be paid in cash and it goes to hire the bar staff. All monies paid to the bar are nonrefundable.
- Orders will be taken at the time the contract is signed.
- Two bartenders per party required unless the guest list exceeds 300 people
You have three primary choices for ordering bar services:
- Cash Bar for the entire evening (customers pay the bar per drink)
- Hosted bar with a tab of $300 to $500
- Unlimited bar. We can still run tabs through the credit card machine.
Champagne must be purchased thru the house staff and served thru the house staff.
- The bar operational hours are from 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
- Checks of age by ID card will be strictly enforced.
- Only two drinks per person per trip to the bar are allowed
- No sodas, beer or wine may be brought into the hall from the outside.
- All bar costs must be paid 30 business days before the event
- There is a 20% service charge added to all bar orders
- Management reserves the right to close the bar down at any time we deem necessary
- We do allow individuals to bring hard liquor to an event. One bottle per family, and it will be kept at their table. Setups can be purchased.
Linens and Decorations
Linens and decorations must be ordered through The Columbus Club Home Association. There is a non-refundable deposit of 30% for all orders. All amount due must be paid thirty days prior to the event. Linens are available in cotton and satin.
Table -tiebacks and overlays are available. Several packages of hall decorations are available.
The only personal decorations allowed in the hall are centerpieces for the tables.
(Columbus Club Home Association will supply everything else.) All decorating supplies, all card tables, extension cords, ladders, dollies, tape, utensils and cake supplies must be provided by the renter, renter’s families, or organization renting the hall. All vendors must bring their own supplies.
Security
The use of our Hall Security Staff is mandatory.
- Price varies slightly depending on day of week and special holidays
- There shall be two officers for the first 200 guests
- One additional officer employed for every 100 guests in excess of 200
- Cash payment must be made at the beginning of the event
- Security will be provided for the parking lot and the outside grounds
- No guests will be allowed in the building until security arrives
- All guests must be out of the building no later than one half hour after the event
- Security hours are from 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM
Terms and Conditions
We apologize for the detailed terms and conditions, but during our many years of providing excellent service, we occasionally have customers who have not conducted business in a professional manner or have taken actions which present an unreasonable imposition on other parties. Please read these carefully.
A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of the signing of the contract. A second $500 nonrefundable deposit is due 30 days prior to the event for linens.
If the event occurs within 60 days of booking, then two equal payments will be required
If the event occurs within 30 days of booking, the total is due at the time of signing
No security deposit required at this time – however good care of the building must adhered to.
- During the event, if there are complaints or issues to discuss with the facility manager, the discussion needs to take place with the host listed on the contract. We can take complaints, but if you want action, it will have to be made with the host involved in the discussion.
- This is a smoke free facility. No smoking is allowed in the building.
- All guests must present a written invitation from the party host
- All drinks must be consumed in the building. We do have a small outside lounge section (standing room only). Smoking and drinking are allowed outside side the hall doors, but NOT into the parking lot.
- Management does reserve the right to restrict the hours of the bar or close it down entirely if we deem necessary – only 2 alcoholic drinks per person per trip to the bar
